At Geniuses On Board Child Development & Learning Center in Southfield, Michigan, we are not babysitters. We provide an enrichment program that fosters social, emotional, and educational development for individuals aged 1 to 12 years old.
Philosophy
Our program is geared toward the overall development of students. We assess each child’s abilities and interests before tailoring a teaching approach that best fits their learning style. We then help them learn problem-solving and critical thinking skills, spark their curiosity and creativity, and boost their self-esteem.
As part of our students’ training, we don’t just confine them inside the four walls of the classroom. Like what the Swiss psychologist Jean Piaget said, we need to let children play around because it opens opportunities for logical thinking. As they experiment, they will make discoveries and modify their current thinking to incorporate new insights.
Our teachers also strive to teach ethical responsibility among pupils. We are an inclusive institution that celebrates the diverse cultures that our students are a part of. We want to instill in them the importance of acceptance, regardless of where they came from.
Vision
The ultimate vision we have for our facility is rooted in both the present and the future. For the present, we aim for parents to be confident in making us their childcare center of choice. We can assure them that their children are safe, educated, and smiling at
all times.
As for the future, we want students to look back fondly at their experience with us. We hope that even with the short time we shared, they can consider their stay in our school as a cherished memory of their childhood.

Our school has easy access to I-696 and the M-10 Lodge freeways. Should you wish to go on a school tour, kindly get in touch with any of our staff. We can schedule your visit at a time that’s most convenient for you.
COVID-19 Policy
Geniuses On Board Child Development & Learning Center will take every precaution for your child to stay healthy and safe! Consistent handwashing and cleaning of the center will be performed often during the day. Students will be required to wash their hands additional times of the day.
We also do daily health screenings and temperature checks. Parents are required to wear nonmedical face coverings during drop-offs and pickups. All staff is required to wear nonmedical face coverings. Students ages 3 and up will be encouraged to wear masks during the day. The only exemptions to face coverings are for medical reasons. We ask that all families practice social distancing during pickups and drop-offs.
